September 11th marks a day in US history many can never forget. The attacks came without warning and took many with them leaving families forever broken.
Using your favorite online tech, you can visit History.com which provide lots of information on the tragic day along with videos and pictures to help you learn and understand what the day consisted of.
You can check out the 9/11 Digital Archive for pictures not only from that terrible day but also the days after where people stood together in mourning, protests, recovery and more.
There have been many changes to our national security since then including the formation of the National 9-11 Commission to go over every fact of the day and use it to help guard against future attacks.
If you’re not able to pay your respects to the 9/11 Memorial in person, you can visit online and share virtually.
9/11 is a good day to remember and thank First Responders for their sacrifice on that day as well as the sacrifices and selflessness they give every day. Stop by your local police or fire department and say thank you or head online to express your Thanks.
