Sherrie asked: “Windows continues to have the blue screen error after updates. How do you fix the blue screen error?”

Sherrie, if you’re getting the blue screen immediately after the update but weren’t before it’s very likely that you’re having driver issues.

Sometimes software updates either replace drivers, or are just not compatible with the old ones and the drivers need to be updated.

The trick here is figuring out which driver is causing trouble and for that you’d need to use the error being displayed on screen. The blue screen probably has either an error number or some kind of detail that you can use to figure out what’s going wrong.

If the issue is drivers, replacing the faulty ones will make the error go away, but it could also be a hardware issue. Unfortunately, if it is you will have to replace the part that’s not working properly.
