The "Into Tomorrow" Team hard at work in the StudioSelected for distribution to American service people around the globe, Into Tomorrow is beamed via satellite to over 140 countries and U.S. territories (including remote areas of Alaska) via an agreement with the Armed Forces Radio and Television Service (AFRTS). The program reaches an additional potential audience of one million listeners as an on-going addition to the AFRTS schedule. From its Broadcast Center at March Air Force Base, Calif., AFRTS uses several satellites to provide service to more than 1,000 authorized outlets as well as more than 400 US Navy ships at sea. AFRTS is operated by the Department of Defense to provide stateside programming to United States military personnel and their families stationed overseas.

The successful program (formerly called “Toys For Boys”), originally created, produced and hosted by Dave Graveline for WIOD-AM in Miami, launched first statewide throughout Florida in January 1996. As of July, 1996, “Into Tomorrow” became available nationwide.
