Mike asked: “My wife has locked herself out of her iPhone. We can’t remember the password she used. Is there any way to unlock that phone?”
Mike, if your wife remembers her Apple ID username and password, you should be able to unlock it using those.
Unfortunately, the password is obviously meant to keep people who dont know it out, so theres no real easy way to get around that, otherwise what would be the point of it?
If her phone is not set up using a Apple ID, you may be able to wipe it by putting it into recovery mode. You will need a computer, but this is a legitimate Apple recommendation.
You can actually find their own instructions on their website, which is good because they differ by device and it involves holding down the right buttons for the right amount of time in the right order.

If the phone is protected by the Apple ID, you will have to enter it even if you do apply this method.
