Apple fully detailed its fall hardware lineup at its “Surprise and Shine” event today, including: a foldable iPhone, new Pro flagships, two smartwatches, new AirPods, and a big software update. It was also the first keynote helmed by new CEO John Ternus.

iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max
The headliner (for people who don’t want to fold their phone in half) is the iPhone 18 Pro lineup, powered by the new A20 Pro chip paired with a next-generation vapor chamber thermal design, which Apple claims brings big battery-life gains.
The camera system gets a 48 MP Fusion Main camera with variable aperture. Apple calls it its most advanced pro camera system in an iPhone. The Dynamic Island is also shrunk down. Colors include black, silver, glacier, and an all-new burgundy (we assume those just mean white and red, but in a more trademarkable way).
The iPhone 18 Pro starts at $1,199 and the iPhone 18 Pro Max at $1,299. Pre-orders open September 12, with availability September 18.
iPhone Duo
Yes, the foldable is real. The iPhone Duo is Apple’s first folding iPhone, with a 7.6-inch inner display (making it the thinnest iPhone ever when opened) and a 5.4-inch outer display that Apple says packs about 90% of the iPhone 18 Pro’s screen area (so you can use it folded without feeling like you’re holding a compromise).
It’s built from mirror-polished Grade 5 titanium with a precision hinge, and both displays get ProMotion, Always On, and 3,000-nit peak brightness. It comes with a A20 Pro chip, a dual-battery architecture, a 48 MP Fusion Main camera, and an Ultra Wide. Colors are star white and night sky (which we think means white and black, but in a more trademarkable way).
The Duo will run you $1,999, with pre-orders October 16 and availability October 23.
