Cyanogen OS Based ZUK Z1 Launches In Europe

Cyanogen has been a popular Android-based OS alternative for Android phones for years, but it's native on the Zuk

The ZUK Z1 is designed for power users who want an operating system with more powerful options

Cyanogen on the Z1 runs on a Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage, and the hardware is meant to satisfy power users as well.

The phone is backed by Lenovo and it features a 4100 mAh battery, a finger print sensor, a 13 megapixel rear camera, an 8 megapixel from facing camera, and USB 3.0 for better performance.

Price could be an edge over other high-end smartphones

The ZUK Z1 sells for €299.99, or about $340, not a particularly cheap price for a phone in general, but a good price for a high-end phone.

The question is, will it work as well as other high-end phones? or will it be “high-end” in theory only?

Main Features:

Operating System: Cyanogen OS 12.1
Processor: Snapdragon 801
Storage: 64GB
Cameras: 13MP rear, 8MP front
Price: €299.99 ($340)
Available in Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Middle East only, no word on US availability yet.
