The COVID pandemic has changed many things, including how medical treatments are delivered. People want to avoid doctors’ offices and treatment centers, which means many put off making appointments. After a live session with an expert, the specialist designs a personal treatment plan that the patient then accesses through a mobile app or a web browser. Both patient and therapist can track progress using this system, and the specialist can adjust the program to meet the changing needs of the patient. This new approach gives medical professionals an alternative to opioids to help people manage their pain while remaining in their own home. The service makes treatment more convenient and always available without having to schedule appointments.
