Lenovo unveiled two new Thinkpad laptops at CES 2022.
The ThinkPad Z13 and Thinkpad Z16 are being marketed to business users and emphasize sustainability.
Both laptops are made with components such as recycled aluminum and recycled vegan leather, they come in 100% recyclable and compostable sugarcane and bamboo based packaging, and come with an A/C adapter that is made from 90% recycled materials.
Both Thinkpad laptops come with AMD Ryzen PRO 6000 Series processors and Microsoft Pluton security processors for extra security on Windows 11.
The screens are a 16:10 aspect ratio powered by touch sensitive OLED displays 13″ on the Z13, 16″ on the Z16, the keyboards include a fingerprint scanner. The Z16 can be set up with an optional AMD Radeon RX 6500M discreet graphics card, and both models comes with Windows 11 pre-installed.
Both models come with 32GB of RAM, and the Z13 has 1TB of storage while the Z16 comes with 2TB.
They should both be available in May 2022. The Z13 will retail for around $1550, the Z16 will cost around $2100.
