At their CES 2021 virtual press conference LG teased (but didn’t directly talk about) a new phone with a rollable screen.
The screen can be rolled out to be made bigger and roll back in to shrink back to a standard phone size.
The phone is expected to be a real upcoming product rather than one of the many CES teases that never make it to market.
This is not the first time LG has introduced a “rollable” screen product. They have in the past announced and actually begun selling to market a rollable TV.
Since LG didn’t directly address the phone, we don’t have any information about pricing or availability, so we’ll keep an eye out for any official announcements in the future.
