New Keyboard-Mouse Hybrid Design KeyMouse Named CES 2016 Innovation Honoree

KeyMouse

KeyMouse is a new input device which combines a keyboard and mouse in an ergonomic design

A KeyMouse set includes a right-hand unit and a left-hand unit with a QWERTY keyboard split in half over the two devices. The keys are also programmable allowing customized key layouts useful for CAD, gaming, and other applications.

The device can also be operated with either hand while a separate laser sensor can be configured for specialized functions such as rotating 3D models, scrolling, panning, and zooming.

Original KeyMouse prototypes were exhibited at CES 2015 and the updated version will be displayed at at CES 2016 next month in Las Vegas, Nevada.
