You can also download many mobile apps that will give you directions including with stops along the way and alert you to traffic conditions like detours and road closures or even accidents that are congesting the roadways.
You’ll also want to use that tech and keep an eye on the weather for your destinations. There are plenty of apps for that including some that are updated in real time by users in the area.
If you’re not sure where you’d like to go but you’re sure that you want to get out, you can check online with each state and county to see what they have to offer. Checking is a good idea anyway to see any safety and social distancing guidelines set in place for that area.
