Samsung and LG have both announced a new transparent televisions at CES 2024. Both of them are being labeled “the first” of their kind, which is only true of if you consider OLED (LG’s) and MicroLED (Samsung) to be enough of a distinction.
The TVs don’t seem very useful at home since no one wants to see what’s behind the screen (and the fact that they’re probably not highlighting the prices for a reason), but they’re likely to be a hit with storefronts everywhere.
