Samsung announced a slew of new devices in their latest Unpacked event ranging from phones to smartwatches, and more.

We include a summary of what was announced below.


Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4

  • Phone-tablet-type device (also known as a phablet)
  • Like last year’s model, Z Fold 4 has a 7.6-inch internal folding display and a 6.2-inch cover display.
  • Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor
  • IPX8 water resistance rating
  • 4,400mAh battery
  • 10MP selfie camera, 4MP under-display camera.
  • Also has a triple rear camera setup with a 12MP ultra-wide, 50MP wide-angle, and 10MP telephoto camera.
  • The Z Fold 4 will also be the first device to ship with Android 12L, a special version of the Android operating system that is optimized for large-screen devices, like foldables.
  • The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 will start at $1,799.99 and will be available in three colors: Graygreen, Beige, and Phantom Black. 
  • You can preorder the phone now, and it will be released officially on August 26.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4

  • 6.7-inch main screen display, while the cover features a tiny 1.9-inch screen – Same as the Galaxy Z Flip 3
  • upgraded camera with a 65 percent brighter sensor than its predecessor, 
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor
  • IPX8 water resistance rating
  • 3,700mAh battery.
  • Memory configurations are limited to only 8GB of RAM, while internal storage comes in three options: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.
  • Four color options will be available: Purple, Graphite, Pink Gold, and Blue.
  • The Galaxy Z Flip 4 will retail for a starting price of $999.99

Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 & Galaxy Watch 5 Pro

  • The Galaxy Watch 5 is available in 40mm and 44mm, with LTE and Bluetooth options available.
  • The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro comes in just one size: 45mm
  • Both include Samsung’s 3-in-1 BioActive sensor:
    • optical heart rate sensor
    • electrical heart sensor
    • bioelectric impedance analysis sensor. Allowing you to detect things, such as body composition. 
  • Both watches have Sleep Coaching to help better monitor your sleeping habits. And a temperature sensor has been introduced.
  • Galaxy Watch 5 will start at $279.99 for the Bluetooth version or $329.99 for the LTE model
  • Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will start at $449.99 for Bluetooth only or $499.99 for the LTE version.
  • Both will be available on August 26 but can be preordered now.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro

  • As the new flagship earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro offer a compact redesign that aims to be more ergonomic. 
  • 28 percent smaller than its predecessor, according to Samsung.
  • The Galaxy Buds Pro will be released for $229.99 on – you guessed it – August 26
