Sono Motors unveiled the Sion, a $26,000 electric car with a 160 mile range.
That much is not too notable these days, it’s cheaper than most electric cars, but not by much, but the Sion is covered in 248 solar cells that allow the car to charge while it’s both parked and moving.
The Sion’s key is a smartphone app, which the owner can use to allow access to other smartphones.
The car can also charge other electric cars and even sell its charge through the same smartphone app, which also allows the owner to operate a sort of ride-share service by connecting them to people seeking rides.
The Sion is available now but only in Europe.
