Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims of the Champlain Towers disaster here in our hometown of Miami, and with the First Responders working hard on the recovery.
The Champlain Towers South is a 40-year old, 12-story building with 135 units that experienced a partial collapse on the evening of June 24th, 2021. While search and rescue operations are currently ongoing, the death toll is expected to exceed 150 people.
