Matt in Yonkers, New York listens Online and asked: “My question relates to Android phones versus iPhones. If someone is in the market to buy either one, what are the advantages of getting an Android phone, such as the new Samsung, versus getting the latest iPhone 13?”
Matt, its a matter of personal preference, nothing else.
Think of it this way if they werent comparable, one of them wouldnt be in business by now.
They sell for roughly the same price, theyre all used for all the same things, theyre both used in business settings, to be able to compete they have to do more or less the same.
If you dont want bloatware, you might want to avoid Samsung in particular, but there are other Android options that will offer stock Android.
Android will be more customizable, but more deeply tied into an ad companys ecosystem.
Apple sells better privacy protection and it does better in that sense but privacy is relative, and even with the iOS 16s UI customization changes its still more rigid than Android.
Ultimately, the real question is, which do you like better? Youll be using them every day and not hating the UI and the experience of using the device counts for more than anything else since both will cover all the basic tasks.

And I’ve tried customer service, I’ve tried doing a factory reset and that works for like a day or two and then it goes back to doing its own thing. So what do you suggest?”
Darren, it seems obviously broken, so were not really going to be able to give you a solution since dont be broken is not an option youll find in a menu.
If the TV is still under warranty, take it in and try to get a replacement, this is obviously not something that it should be doing and it should be grounds to have it replaced.
If thats no longer possible you can look into getting bluetooth or other external speakers and control their volume instead, but keep in mind that the TV is ultimately feeding the source, so it may not make a difference.
