The new HomePod is a powerful, Siri-enabled home speaker, meant to compete with the likes of Amazon’s Echo and Google’s Home. When it comes out in December, it will be able to answer commands and questions like other Siri-enabled devices can, access Apple Music, control Homekit smart devices. It will also respond to touch commands on its top surface to play, change the volume, and more.
