Escort Unveils Its Smartest Radar And Laser Detector Yet

Radar detectors have been around for a while, but Escort's latest offering almost feels like a radar itself, rather than a just detector

Escort Max 360

Advanced 360 degree detection

Rather than just beeping to alert drivers that something seems to be aiming a beam at them (whether it be a police officer or a grocery store’s automatic door), Escort‘s new Max 360 features a dual antenna that can detect multiple “threats” at once, and can alert the driver whether “a threat” (AKA: “a speed gun”) is coming from the front, the rear, or the side, and whether the band being used is X, K, or Ka.

AutoLearn and GPS

The Max 360 will alert driver of known speed traps, air patrols, red light cameras, and it will learn the nuances for the user’s most frequently traveled routes to minimize false alerts.

Escort Live! connectivity

Escort Live! can work alongside the Max 360 to display the speed limit alongside the vehicle’s current speed, and display crowdsourced alerts.

Price

The Escort Max 360 is priced at $650, which includes a “ticket protection guarantee.”
