Garmin announced two new smartwatches at IFA 2022.
The Venu Sq 2 and Venu Sq 2 Music Edition are GPS smartwatches made for all-day health monitoring as well as fitness tracking.
Both watches feature:
- 24/7 wrist-based heart rate tracking with abnormal heart rate alerts
- Sleep monitoring, including sleep stages and respiration data
- Stress tracking with mindful breathing exercises, and breathwork reminders when stress is detected
- Women’s health tracking with tools to track menstrual cycles and pregnancies.

- Smart notifications
- 25+ sports apps
- An AMOLED display
The Venu Sq2 Music Edition adds local storage for music on the go.
The Venu Sq2 retails for $250 and the Venu Sq2 Music Edition retails for $300, and both are available now.
