French company Helite is the maker of wearable airbags and is introducing two new versions for very different segments of consumers.
B’safe
The B’safe vest is designed for bikers and it can detect a fall and use compressed air to create a protective air bubble around the body of the rider.
Hip’safe
The company is also showing off a device aimed at the older segment of the population. The Hip’safe aims to protect seniors from hip fractures by providing them with a hip airbag that can sense their fall and deploy to break it more gently.
