Remembering a National Tragedy

September 11th marks a day in US history many can never forget.

9-11-16-3

The September 11th attacks came without warning and took many with them leaving families forever broken.

It’s been a long time since the attacks and many young people may not know about them. Heading online to places like History.com and the 9/11 Digital Archive will help you can learn with information on the tragic day including pictures and video not only from that terrible day but, days after where people stood together in mourning, protests, recovery and more.

Since that day the National 9-11 Commission was created to go over every fact of the day and use it to help guard against future attacks.

If you’re not able to pay your respects to the 9/11 Memorial or Museum  in person, you can visit online and share them virtually.

9/11 is always a good day to remember and say Thank YOU  to First Responders for their service and sacrifices on that day as well as the sacrifices and selflessness they give every day.

Stop by your local police or fire department and say thank you. Fun 4 Gator Kids has some great ideas for saying thanks along with some cute gifts kids can make.

And let’s not forget the ones sacrificing their time away from families especially the ones that never come back, send our Military A Million Thanks or a note via Operation Gratitude!

God Bless America today and …”Into Tomorrow”!
