Jim in Newark, Delaware listens online and left us a comment:
Jim said: “Well, first, I’d just like to say we’re glad that you’re feeling so much better, Dave. We were a little concerned about you there for a while, but everything turned out okay. Being a truck driver, I have to rely on consumer electronics, you know, like my cell phone, GPS, all that kind of stuff all the time. And if it weren’t for the Into Tomorrow app, I’d probably be lost out here. I listen to the podcast all day long and I love the fact that you have the 24/7 feed on there. So all I have to do is just pop it on. Any time I want, I can listen to it. So it’s not really a not really question. More of a thank you for what you do out here for all of us.”
Dion in Miami, Florida called in and said: “I want to know how to successfully operate an iPhone.”
Dion, it depends on what you want to do, but successfully operating an iPhone doesnt take much more than tapping on the icon on the screen and then tapping the buttons that come up.
Theyre fairly intuitive devices.
If you want someone to guide you through the learning process you can visit apple.com/today/calendar/ and look for courses at Apple Stores near you.
Some of those courses are basically Getting started with iPhone lessons and they are free. If youre interested in going past that initial state, there are other courses as well, everything from relatively basic usage to more complex video shooting or editing techniques on iPhones.
Other than that, your best bet is to just play around with the phone, theyre designed to be pretty simple so youre not likely to run into too many issues.
When you participate on the show – anytime 24/7 – and we HEAR you with any consumer tech question, comment, help for another listener, tech rage or just share your favorite App these days … you could win prizes.
