Tech News and Commentary

Dave and Chris discuss Open AI’s Sky and other voices, controlling Android with your face, and more.

Jordan in Orlando, Florida asked: “I’m looking for ways to expand my listeners’ experience – my audience’s experience. Right now I’m experimenting with a platform called Ditto. I was wondering if you know anything about it or if you know any other platforms that I should look into.”

Jordan, were not familiar with Ditto and there seem to be quite a few platforms by that name ranging from music distribution and streaming, to podcast transcription, to learning for young children.

The most popular seems to be Ditto Music, if thats the one youre using the biggest draw seems to be that you get to keep all of your royalties, their streaming app is likely very low traffic but as long as theyre distributing to other sources you may still benefit from their policy on revenue share.

Having said that, were not sure if that is the platform you mean and there are lots and lots of Dittos out there. If you can tell us which one youre using and what kind of audio youre putting out wed be glad to dig deeper for you and see if we can find any alternatives that may be worth considering.
