14 Years Later and still … We Will Never Forget

September 11th marks a day in US history many can never forget.
9-11- 2

The September 11th attacks came without warning and took many with them leaving families forever broken. History.com lists information on the tragic day along with videos and pictures to help you learn what the day consisted of. You can check out the 9/11 Digital Archive for pictures from that day and days after where people stood together in mourning, protests, recovery and more. You can also pay your respects and visit the 9/11 Memorial  online which is nice if you’re not able to get there in person.

Since that day the National 9-11 Commission was created to go over every fact of the day and use it to help guard against future attacks. You can head online to learn more and keep up with the latest developments.

9/11 is a good day to remember and thank First Responders for their sacrifice on that day as well as the sacrifices and selflessness they give every day. Stop by your local police or fire department and say thank you. Fun 4 Gator Kids has some great ideas for saying thanks along with some cute gifts kids can make. You can also head online and join the movement to create a National Holiday to say Thank You to our First Responders.

And let’s not forget the ones sacrificing their time away from families especially the ones that never come back, send our Military A Million Thanks!

God Bless America today and …”Into Tomorrow”!
