At CES 2026, Amazon is unveiling a suite of AI-driven innovations centered around ambient intelligenyce, technologies that seamlessly integrate into daily life.
Alexa+
A key highlight is Alexa+, which now enables users to discover and book services in travel, dining, home improvement, and wellness directly through voice or web interactions. Amazon has partnered with major brands like Expedia, Yelp, Angi, and Square to build “agentic experiences” to “streamline complex tasks.”
Alexa+ is expanding beyond voice and mobile with the rollout of Alexa.com to all Early Access users, bringing full AI assistant capabilities directly to web browsers.
Ring
Ring is introducing several AI-powered advancements aimed at improving home and neighborhood safety.
One standout feature is Fire Watch, available in the Neighbors section of the Ring app, which provides early alerts during fast-moving wildfires by analyzing camera footage for smoke or fire, and it is enabled through a collaboration with Watch Duty.
Additionally, Ring is launching the Ring Appstore, a new in-app platform that extends the functionality of existing Ring cameras through third-party applications developed by partners.
The system now supports Alexa+ Greetings, where conversational AI combines with Video Descriptions to answer doorbells and interact with visitors autonomously.
Fire TV
Amazon is revamping the Fire TV experience with a redesigned interface that is supposed to load up to 30% faster and that organizes content more intuitively around categories like movies, TV shows, and sports.
Users can now browse titles across all their streaming subscriptions in dedicated hubs.
Debuting alongside the interface update is the Amazon Ember Artline, the company’s first lifestyle TV. This 4K QLED model features a matte display designed to double as a digital art canvas, offering access to over 2,000 free artworks.
AI-powered recommendations suggest pieces that match the room’s décor, while ten customizable frame colors allow for personalization.
