John Deere unveiled a fully autonomous and fully electric lawn mower at this year’s CES in Las Vegas.
The lawn mower can operate at a speed of 6 mph and has a maximum operating time of about 10 hours.
The company also announced an autonomous tractor for what they’re terming “large-scale agriculture” and an autonomous dump truck for quarry operations.
Like any good modern corporation, John Deere doesn’t want you to just buy but to subscribe and pay them forever, so these machines will be operated via John Deere Operations Center Mobile, the company’s cloud-based platform.
