Online Learning

Parents everywhere are having to help their kids learn while schools are closed.

Thanks to technology that is more than possible!

Schools all over are implementing online learning to help students continue to learn while the pandemic has shut down their educational institutions. Teachers are quickly learning new or updated online course instructions and ways to communicate with students and parents while assigning work to be turned in all while everyone is in the safety of their own homes.

Some teachers are also deploying their own YouTube channels so they can post helpful tutorial videos including tutorials and stories being read to their students.

A number of online learning sites and tutorials that help kids from Pre-K through high school are offering their activities and courses for free during the shutdowns.

Many places like zoo’s, museums, orchestras and more are posting and streaming live activities from webcams to concerts.

There are even famous musical artists posting free concerts from their living rooms that kids can watch.

The college students are no different with their schools being shut down. Some are used to online learning so that’s a plus but others used to going into a classroom everyday are now joining their online classmates to get their work assigned and finished.

Check with your learning institution for access and information on work that needs to be done over this trying time and just do a search online for any other subjects you may be interested in teaching your kids while you’re their instructor as there are a ton of helpful free sites!

And of course the best way to learn about new tech is to download our FREE Into Tomorrow App and “Ask Dave!

Good luck with the new adventure and thank your teachers!
