William in Charlotte, North Carolina called in with a comment about photos in mobile operating systems
William said: “I have an iPhone and a Google Pixel, so I’ve got both Android and Apple operating systems, and both of them have really evolved in a lot of specific and nuanced ways. And the coolest way that I think that they’ve been enhanced with AI is in your photo gallery. So I just wanted to tell folks that if you look at your photos now on your phone, probably in the bottom right corner of your menu is a little magnifying glass or some search option. You can hit that option and type in anything like ‘day at the beach’, or ‘grandma’, or ‘pictures of my dog’, and it will find every picture in your photo gallery that you described. And that’s game-changing because I’ve got thousands of photos on my phones and I never really can ever find the pictures I’m looking for. So anyway, I just thought that was super cool. It’s definitely a step forward in userability, if that’s even a word. But you can even search by date or address and just find photos of a date or of an address on the map. It’s super cool. I find it to be super awesome. Okay. Anyway, I got to get back to work now. Just love the show. You guys are doing great. Keep up the good work.”
Thank you, William!
