Dave and the team discuss security researchers recommending that people delete the Facebook app, the Truth network’s first hack, Amazon’s new solutions for senior living centers, and more.

Don in LaBelle, Florida listens to the podcasts and asked: “Wondering if there is some app for video editing that will pickup videos from my “Google online app.” Preferable that would work on a Windows 10 machine or an iPhone – hopefully both of those. I have not found anything that will pick up those Google videos easily.”

Don, it depends on what the Google online app is in this case.

If you mean Google Drive or Google Photos, then you can use a Google Workspace app like MovieStudio or ClipChamp that can be accessed directly from Google Drive itself.

Youd just open Google Drive, use the app directly from there on Windows or any other operating system, and the app would be able to access your Google-stored videos directly, and use them in your movies.

If you want something that runs natively on Windows, then your best option may be to install the Google Drive windows app to have your online videos synced directly to your computer. Any video editing software would be able to read them from there.

That would enable you to pick any video editor that youre happy with and choose based on features and price without the constraint of it being able to access Googles ecosystem directly.

Having said, if you take that route youll have to keep in mind that videos eat up a lot of storage, so you should make sure you have enough available storage to manage it.
