Awareness the Tech Way …

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month  and there are some great online resources available with information, tips, places to make donations, blogs and more.

One of the most widely recognized organizations, Susan G. Komen, offers extensive information about breast cancer including survivor stories, events to raise awareness and funds, shopping to show your support, information about the journey, ways to donate and so much more.

Breast Cancer.org includes tips on treatments and side effects, day to day life as well as symptoms and diagnosis. WebMD assists with information on tests you may want to get, risk factors, different types of breast cancer and much more.

roseMost of these organizations have links where you can donate for the cause but you might also want to check out The Rose  or  Charity Navigator  to see a listing and details of many foundations.
