Tom asked: “My friend has a Galaxy Note 5 and has an app that has moving waves on her wallpaper with sound. I like this. Being a “iPhoney”, I looked on the App Store and can’t find anything like this. Wondering if you could lead me in the right direction. She also had it as an app that came with her LG Transpyre. I do want this, as long as it won’t suck down my battery. Any help would be appreciated.”
Tom, bad news: you can’t unless you jailbreak your phone, Apple doesn’t do live wallpaper. They do add a slight animation to the wallpaper, but it’s not a real live wallpaper like the one you’re talking about.
Good news: they don’t allow it because it does “suck down your battery,” so you probably wouldn’t have kept it running for long anyway.
If you really, really do want to try it, you can. Jailbroken iPhones have ran live wallpapers pretty much since they were first jailbroken.
