Students are beginning their summer break and for many, “summer learning loss” is a great problem. By heading online, you can keep up the skills you learn during the school year as well as get ahead for the next one.
The National Summer Learning Association is a great site that gives information and tips on things to do to prevent that summer learning loss.
Time 4 Learning and Kumon have some great tips on preventing the loss as well as resources, lessons, activities and more to help students and parents.
Internet 4 Classrooms offers free online learning programs for students in each grade level from prek thru 12th.
Another fun site kids may like is Learning Games for Kids featuring games geared toward math, typing, music and more.
Kids will benefit from and enjoy the games and activities from sites like Jumpstart and Nick JR where they can even play with their favorite characters. PBS Kids offers cool learning games as well as a free App parents can download to watch their child’s activity on the site.
Kids can also have fun outdoors learning with nature and you can visit Family Education and Scholastic for some great ideas.
And while you’re at it, don’t forget to download our free “Into Tomorrow” App!
